The clone
Hey guys ,
I have a usb hub which is branded as usb 3.0 , which it is not as the usb has only 4 pads
which could explain the price of 100rs which i now know is too high.
Why ?
because the chip used in this pcb is a 0.85 yen priced IC which is about 0.60rs , considering the plactic case all other components it may come to about max 50 which is still half the price i paid.
But here writing this post i dont regret it.
I researched for this IC a little bit and I found that this IC was a chinese clone of another banded chinese IC which is much more costly about 127 rs .
The cloning company used the original IC datasheet for their product .
It is literally amazing how the managed to achieve this kind of price drop in their product.
